Learn My Way is a free online platform that helps people gain basic digital skills and improve their digital literacy to make the most of our online world. It provides over 100 bite-sized topics that are suitable for beginners that have no or low digital skills, allowing everyone to benefit from using digital devices and accessing essential online services. People can visit registered Hubs in their local communities and get support to sign up for and use Learn My Way. Alternatively, people can access digital skills topics independently on Learn My Way using their own devices.

Learn My Way is powered by Good Things Foundation - a charity with one clear mission: to Fix the Digital Divide - for Good. They've developed a comprehensive service for digitally excluded people. An offer which any local organisation - anywhere in the UK - can use to Fix the Digital Divide in their communities.  This network of thousands of grassroots organisations is called the National Digital Inclusion Network. Members are supported by Good Things with events and training, guidance and resources, peer-to-peer support and grant funding. Members of the Digital Inclusion Network can also access the National Databank and National Device bank.

The National Databank provides free data to people in need via Good Things Foundation’s National Digital Inclusion Network, in partnership with telecoms providers. Think of it like a ‘food bank’ but for internet connectivity data. Members of the National Digital Inclusion Network can apply to access the databank, enabling them to provide data to people in their communities who need it.

The National Device Bank is an alternative solution to IT asset disposal that tackles e-waste whilst supporting people who are digitally excluded. The National Device Bank accepts used IT equipment and devices from organisations and after refurbishment distributes them across the National Digital Inclusion Network, to people with no access to their own, so that they can get online and connect with jobs, training, friends & family and essential everyday services. Members of the National Digital Inclusion Network can apply to access the device bank, enabling them to provide devices to people in their communities who need them.

Since its formation, Good Things Foundation built a network of 5,000 community partners.

Through its National Digital Inclusion Network, more than 2 million people have been digitally empowered, gaining digital skills and enabling them to increase their employment opportunities.

During Get Online Week, thousands of events take place across the UK, helping tens of thousands of people improve their ICT skills.
